Identification of Morphological and Physiochemical Characteristics, Flowering Periods, and Genetic Relationship of Citrus Species

Abstract Variety improvement program of citrus in Indonesia has still been prioritized, therefore, characterization and identification varieties within and/or among species are absolutely required order to obtain desired based on market demand needs. The aim this research was determine morphological characteristics, flowering periods, the genetic relationship four species. This study carried out at Citrus Subtropical Fruit Research Institute (ICISFRI). A total 12 derived from reticulata Blanco, sinensis L. Osbeck, aurantifolia (Christm.) Swingle), lemon (L.) Burm. F used for description. evaluated by molecular analyses using Inter-simple Sequence Repeat (ISSR). result showed that variations characters were identified either or Blanco had highest physiochemical contents.
